Halloween Treats

Store bought treats.............

Schools don't let you make treats to send with your kids anymore! It sucks too! Some of the best things come from mom's kitchen! Well... That is if your mom can cook or bake.

Every mom brings a box of cookies or a bag of candy. That has to be the most boring thing on earth... Come on, how lazy are you? Not saying that I haven't been that mom a time or two, but I hate to be that lazy. I want my kids to remember when they helped mom make ghost and jack-o-lantern lollipops!

Watching the girls today, working so hard to help momma, made me smile. These are the kind of memories they will keep with them forever...

We couldn't make our treats without making a mess. There was orange tissue paper all over the table and floor... Not to mention the green ribbon lying in cut pieces everywhere. I didn't care. Watching them was fun!

Though, ladybug had the hardest time trying to tie the thin green ribbon. Nevertheless, they had so much fun... Momma made it better by letting her draw the faces on them. (scoring me some brownie points) I love when I can rack up happy momma points! Those always get me tons of hugs and kisses...

We get the ghost's ready super easy, but ribbon is not ladybugs strong suit... Banana head, however, she can tie like nobody's business! Thank goodness too because I hated fooling with it.

My girls surprise me daily with how much they can do and figure out. Without someone standing over them constantly. Super smart, my silly brats are! Wouldn't change it for all the money in the world.

Now they both have a box of 25 handmade treats for school! Or, at least as homemade as the school will let us get... My pretty girls are so happy to have all their treats ready. They have even packed their costumes for school on Monday morning.

Wow... One holiday down and two left before a new year starts. Time is flying by with a quickness! Someone needs to learn how to slow down these years for me... So I can keep my girls young for a little bit longer.

Make each holiday special. Time slips away quick...
