Ladybug has just gotten to the point where she wants to braid my hair all the time. She tells me, "Momma I need to practice."
You will never guess what I'm about to say.... So I'm gonna tell ya! I'm the only person to practice on... Apparently. That's right, Peggy Sue!... Lucky me.
(I don't know a Peggy Sue, just so y'all know)
Mother of Pearl! I'm tender headed! She has just about made me cry a hundred times... Yes, people, I AM wimpy that's me, no problem sayin so.
My 1st Style |
I think I've seen the white light... She is killing me! Call 911! She has this evil laugh, that only slips through her lips when she rips the brush through my last five hairs. Please, send in a rescue team... Something?... Anything?... Crap.
Well, now I feel like a smashed banana... I hurt ladybugs feelings when I yelled a bit. She got a rubber band stuck in my hair... Her cry is killing me! Especially, when I know it's because of me.
Never in my life would I hurt my girls' feelings. Not for all the red skittles in the world. Ladybug is amazing and can do absolutely anything she wants to...
But, My Lord! Hairdressing is not ever going to be her cup of tea... No, I can see ladybug becoming a veterinarian working with larger animals. Married to a farmer, living on a huge spread of land accompanied by tons of critters with a few babies of her own.
Cosmetology and Ladybug don't even belong in the same sentence... That girl will need a shit pot of practice to prove to me she has improved outside of last night's torture session. Before I ever let her do that again!
Sweet girl has that can do attitude you just can't help but admire. She may seem like she's about to give up and quit, but she jumps right back into whatever task it is and she won't stop till she has mastered it.
This is the Next Beautiful Style |
At one point she thinks, hey I should take pics of the things I'm doing to momma. Lucky me, right? I let her use my phone so you will get to see two of her failed attempts and one she did really good on.
This Was Her Work of Art Way to Go Ladybug! |
Lesson tonight is always remember to brush your own hair or your ladybug will rip out so you never have to brush again. It will make you cry like a two-year-old... Trust me you just can't make this stuff up people. Plus, I have photographic evidence...
