Fall Break...

The joy of Fall Break with your kids.

Somewhere at some time, a guy in a suit decided recess was mandatory for all educational staff. In which time he said, "Hey mom, you need to take care of your own sweet dragons for about five days in the month of October."

From that moment forward, we were bestowed with Fall Break. I just want to say Thank You, to that guy. Someone should send him a darn appreciation card...

I have two girls, that are two years apart. They are as different as the moon and stars. Let me tell you, that it's a good thing most days and it definitely keeps my life interesting...

Their styles clash, but I love it! It makes them unique, not to mention, devilishly wild... Sometimes one child wants little house on the prairie hair styles. While the other wants a simple ponytail.

Like I said, one is my moon and the other is my star... Let me tell you, this very sweet sounding moon and star have mastered the art of transfiguration. They can change into fire-breathing dragons... In the blink of an eye.

This is incredibly scary to witness, so always beware of them.

Today, my dragons came out to play. Dear banana chips! Why do they wait till you're in public? No problem, because I'm crazy... With the utmost certainty that my family is the root of all crazy.

My girls are just the newest to the lot of us, so I release them onto the world. Good luck to all that come into contact with these dragons!

Well, as I was saying... They were acting out in public like I'm some yuppie mom, who would never dream of taking her shoe off in public to smack their dragon butt's upside the head.

Also, my dragons have this nasty habit of butting into adult conversation...I HATE that with a passion. We had a talk, which did nothing, because even as I write she is still butting in and driving me up the wall.

Duct tape may be the only option at this point... Does anyone know if they make it fireproof? I'm afraid the dragons will just burn through it otherwise.

Earlier, the fire-breathing dragons were fighting with each other. Over something so small I can't even remember what it was. There was some serious screaming and shoving going on. All over nothing!

Air!... These two could literally fight over air! Why on earth do two very smart little dragons want to fight? Especially, when they could be working together to take over the world.

The dragons of the world are plotting against all the moms somehow... I believe they have an app, on how to drive mom to the crazy side of life. With exclusive tips on how to speed up the process.

These dragons are too much and way too smart for their own good. Every dragon enjoys playing the game of slowly driving mom nuts. I'm sure they do this because they like seeing crazy mom.

You know her, she's the one with veins popping out of her forehead. Yelling at her kids like a mad woman. While everyone watches from the sidelines, whispering that she's crazy... Of course, all because of your crazy dragon.

Just my thoughts about my own fire-breathing dragons and the things they do to me. Fact is, I would never give up, not one single day with them. No matter how bad or good.

As long as I'm with them its worth it... I love them too pieces!
