Dirty Laundry

Where does it come from? Oh, my.....

I walk through the house, gathering up what I think is all the dirty laundry. Guess what? Hah! The jokes on me. Somehow the girls' always find more and for some reason, it magically turns into three or four loads.

Where on Earth did they find it? Where did it all come from!

The best part of my laundry day is taking wet clothes to the laundry mat and drying them. I live in a house that literally eats dryers for some reason... I have bought two dryers since moving into this house and that's not including the one I moved in with.

This house has power surges and only takes the lives of dryers. I know it's crazy, but it's my luck... So I refuse to buy another one for my hungry house. This darn place can starve for all I care.

Oh boy! Another load! I was just about to leave for the laundry mat when they managed to find another load of clothes. I'm the luckiest mommy in the whole world... I truly am.

There have been many times over the years I've cleaned my boys' and girls' rooms and found tons of nasty clothes and trash. My boy's always had dishes hidden in their room. My girls always have clothes!

How did I survive?  Better yet, how and why did they? Questions for another time, I suppose... Actually, in all truthfulness, my kids are my world. I would move heaven and Earth for them. I love them very, very much.

As I stand here, folding all the laundry that my sweet, sweet girls found for me... Why are there missing socks?

I always laugh at them, watching them put their stuff away. Their either moaning, Mom, I'm tired or groaning, Can I do it later, please? They haven't even done anything... Outside of bringing me the dirty laundry. Apparently, it was terribly exhausting. Well, at least its done! For a few days, anyway...

Till next time...
